Job Description1. Responsibility for Teaching the Students.2. Responsibility and accountability for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plansand direction.3. Active membership of and contribution to the Faculty Development Program and the overall leadership and management of the Faculty.4. Development and sustainment of appropriate structures for management,consultation, decision-making and communication with faculties and students.5.Promotion and representation of the college both internally and externally6. Provision of the best possible student experience through the fulfillment of the college responsibilities concerning students in respect of their admission, internship, placement, progress and examination.7. Review and develop new programs in order to attract new students andmarkets.8.The availability of pastoral assistance, and adherence to the regulations and procedures of Faculties and of the Senate9. Creating a dynamic and forward looking research environment for both staffand students.10.Ensuring that the college HR policies and procedures are implemented.11. Ensuring that staff performance is managed appropriately and that fair workload allocation processes are in place.12.Ensuring all staff have access to the necessary support to enable them to contribute fully and develop their skills and experience.13. Engendering and fostering a culture of excellence, cooperation and respect both within and beyond the department.14. Should be open to accept the administrative responsibilities as and when required or decided by the management.RequirementsStrong leadership quality with presentation skills.Excellent subject knowledgeProper understanding of college activities and requirements.Outstanding written, oral, and organizational ability.Strategic, analytic and creative thinkerHaving a minimum of 5 years of experience
