About SwitchOn: SwitchOn helps precision manufacturing Industries drastically reduce their manufacturing defects through the use of a one-of-a-kind field-trainable AI system. The Quality Inspectors can train the SwitchOn DeepInspect system on the field to inspect complex surface defects and eliminate customer complaints through AI-on-the-Edge. Leading global manufacturers such as SKF, Bosch, AB Carter, Unilever, P&G, Diageo, ITC, and others are using the SwitchOn platform to give quality superpowers to their Inspectors and ensure zero defects in their plants. About the Role: We are building AI-powered quality Inspection solutions that use high-speed cameras and one-of-a-kind software to inspect complex surface defects at 800+ parts per minute. Since our solution defines the overall operations of the plant when implemented, it requires the decision to be taken at the top. The role hence requires a combination of inbound and outbound selling methodology to reach out to the plant head, Head of Quality, Directors, and VPs of the manufacturing industries in a designated region. We were pitching and demonstrating the capabilities of our product AI-enabled SaaS product as a way of improving their operations. The role, also, involves sourcing such leads from different platforms/vendors/channel partners and attending the events to create a robust sales pipeline. Responsibilities: 1. Deal generation using an insider sales approach for manufacturing companies in the designated region 2. Pitch our product to the inbound leads and organize a meeting with A.E.s to understand the use case and nurture it to the next deal stage. 3. Propose solutions to prospective clients, and set up next-level meetings in the Manufacturing Plant. 4. Conducting Lab/Plant/Line demos to establish the feasibility of the application. 5. Maintaining a high level of CRM Hygiene. 5. Extra Brownie Points for Techno-Commercial Solutioning and Commercial Negotiations. Skills & Qualifications: 1. Demonstrated success in selling hardware/software to manufacturing companies. 2. Candidates with software sales and solution sales experience with a Value-based approach are preferred. 3. Ability to understand the use case and setting up equipment to do in-lab feasibility of use case (We will be helping you do it initially) 4. Good Selling skills with a drive to improve further. 5. Willingness to learn computer vision technology is a must (as the product is continuously evolving at a fast pace.) 6. Hands-on experience with sales tools is mandatory. (Example: Zoho, Salesforce) 7. Ability to do lab/line/plant product demonstrations and build rapport with the client 8. Travel to the Plants regularly to do demonstrations (up to 3 visits per week) 9. Machine-Vision Sales Experience along with Industry 4.0, ERP is a plus. 10.Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and automation is mandatory. 11. Operated in major industrial hubs of India - NCR, Pune, and Gujrat. 12.B-tech.( Electronics/instrumentation,/Electrical/any etc). Location: Gujarat & NCR Experience: 2-3 years in Sales Engineer roles. Previous experience related to the companies such as: 1.
