This role combines technical expertise with leadership, guiding a team of developers, ensuring best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable Salesforce applications.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of Salesforce solutions including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.Architect and implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce tools.Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Drive and manage Salesforce integration with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.Work across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to deliver business functionality.Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Stay current on Salesforce releases and roadmap to recommend feature adoption.Manage onshore-offshore coordination and act as the primary point of contact for technical escalations.Ensure test coverage, CI/CD practices, and release governance are implemented effectively.Optimize application performance and proactively monitor and resolve issues.Guide the implementation of Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado or Gearset.Must-Have Skills:8–9 years of Salesforce development experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership roleStrong command over Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and SOQL/SOSLExperience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration with external systemsSolid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, sharing & security models, and governor limitsExperience with trigger frameworks, reusable components, and modular code structuresProficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersHands-on experience in code review, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelinesAbility to lead technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and defect resolutionGood-to-Have Skills:Knowledge of Agentforce and Salesforce Data CloudExperience with Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABITKnowledge of Salesforce Dynamic Forms, Lightning Pages, and other newer platform featuresExperience with Version Control Systems (e.g., Git)Exposure to AI features and Salesforce Einstein is an advantageWorking knowledge of Salesforce Deployment StrategiesStakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration in a distributed environmentCertifications:Must Have:Salesforce Platform Developer ISalesforce App BuilderPreferred:Salesforce Platform Developer IISalesforce Certified Application Architect or System ArchitectSalesforce Consultant Certifications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)Added Plus:Salesforce Certified DevOps EngineerSalesforce AI Associate, Data Cloud, or Agentforce SpecializationAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
