MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia PacificAbout the Role:Position Title: DEBI Data Designer and Developer- Assistant Vice PresidentCorporate Title: AVPLocation: BengaluruPosition details:The role is part of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence team within MUFG EMEA Technologywhich manages the projects related to data applications across MUFG bank systems. We are looking for a experienceddesigner/ developer with around 10 to 14 years of experience driving different data solutions end to end.Roles and Responsibilities:Delivery:

Design & Development:Design and develop ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) and, where necessary, PowerCenter.
Snowflake Integration:Create and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines, loading data from various sources (APIs, RDBMS, files) into Snowflake for analytics.
Data Modeling:Implement dimensional data models, including FACT/DIM table design and Star/Snowflake schemas.
Optimization:Write and tune complex SQL/PL/SQL, optimizing queries and data pipelines for high performance, scalability, and speed.
Data Integration:Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) and data quality assurance.
Collaboration:Work with data architects, stakeholders, and data engineering teams to meet business requirements and performance SLAs.
Conduct code reviews and ensure the relevant documentation for the application are updated as part of the Project.
Take the ownership of tech debts and prod enhancemnets
Design and implement data integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between various systems and applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and architects to understand business needs and translate them into technical designs.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies and explore innovative data solutions.
Closing of the incidents with good Resolutions notes and details within SLAs.

Job Requirements:

Required to have a good understanding of software development methodologies.
Proven experience designing, delivering, and scaling data-intensive applications.
Experience working on transformation projects involving introducing new technologies and ways of working within a business. Ability to drive adoption of new data architectures and technologies.
Ability to clarify and uncover technical requirements, risks, and opportunities with tech leads and collaborators. Experience translating business needs into technical specifications.
Deep, demonstratable experience delivering with various types of databases and design, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, graph databases, vector stores, and data warehouses, particularly in cloud environments. Experience with data modelling techniques and data warehousing methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with cloud-native data architectures and technologies.
Experience with data management tools and processes.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Expertise in cloud-based data platforms Snowflake (preferred), AWS, Azure,Databricks.
Informatica:Strong hands-on experience with IDMC, Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and IICS.
Snowflake:Proficiency in Snowflake data modeling, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
SQL:Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
ETL Concepts:Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, CDC, and data warehousing principles.
Cloud & Tools:Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and scheduling tools like Control-M.

Education / Qualifications:

Degree educated and / or equivalent experience
