Position Overview: AutoNxt Automation Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality and Testing Engineer to join our team at our assembly line in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Electric Tractor lineup through comprehensive testing and inspection procedures. This position will also involve occasional travel to our R&D and head office in Thane, Maharashtra, as well as other locations across India where the Tractors are deployed. Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality control procedures and testing protocols for Electric Tractors to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough inspections and functional tests on Electric Tractors throughout the production process, from prototype to final assembly, to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to address and resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of quality check results, test reports, and inspection findings, and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders. Assist in the development and validation of test fixtures, equipment, and procedures for quality assurance and testing purposes. Participate in the setup and commissioning of new equipment and production lines at various locations across India, as needed. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing methodologies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or testing role within the EV or automotive industry. Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on manufacturing processes and product testing. Proficiency in conducting various types of inspections and tests, including functional, performance, and reliability testing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Willingness to travel frequently to various locations across India for on-site testing and quality inspection visits. Previous experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and familiarity with regulatory requirements for automotive or EV products is preferred.
