The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical design principles, relevant industry standards, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality designs in a timely and cost-effective manner.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical systems and components in accordance with project requirements.Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical).Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.Specify electrical components, wiring, and materials per industry codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE).Coordinate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, and project engineers.Support in prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical designs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality protocols.Manage project documentation and revisions throughout the design lifecycle.Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).6+ years of professional experience in electrical design.Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.).Familiarity with PLCs, motor control circuits, control panel design, and power distribution systems.Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, UL, IEEE).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and project management abilities.
