HEAD QC FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - DURG , CHHATTISGARH

• Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and monitor QMS protocols to ensure consistent quality in steel production.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee daily testing activities in the laboratory, furnace, CCM, and rolling mill sections.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure full compliance with relevant industry standards such as API 5L, API 5CT, and ISO 9001.
• Testing and Inspection: Manage Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), heat treatment inspections, and physical/chemical testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate product failures, non-conformances, and customer complaints to develop corrective action plans (CAPA).
• Leadership: Train, mentor, and lead the quality assurance team.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in quality assurance within the steel industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, casting, and metallurgical properties.
• Tools: Expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC), NDT techniques, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
