Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role: At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: As technical project manager the candidate would be responsible to . Work with the programme manager, product, business and operations to understand the demand and formulate Plan to deliver. . Prepare and manage detailed project plan for various initiatives to meet the business outcome with high quality and within agreed schedule and cost. . Work with Vendor to agree scope and ensure timelines are aligned to the project. . To work with various internal technology teams to interlock plans and delivery to ensure end to end technology delivery to the business. . Participate in various working group and programme forum to update the stakeholders of the project status and actions. What will you be doing . Work with Product, business and technology team to understand the business outcome, perform project sizing, estimation and scheduling to provide clarity on the delivery approach, cost and schedule. . Innovatively think of various alternatives for delivering and realising business value sooner if possible. . Ability to perform work breakdown to prepare clear, detailed and optimised project plan covering all aspects of technology and business activities required to accomplish the project. . Ability to translate and break the large project plan into small units and facilitate working in agile methodology. . Work with Scrum Master to ensure the sprint planning is aligned to larger project objective and timeline and the agile reporting is done in effective manner. . Identify, report, and track any risk to project and ensure appropriate measures are taken to mitigate. . Manage scope to ensure timely quality delivery is achieved. . Ensure the required project governance and reporting is adhered to. Would be required to ensure project status and identified risks/issues are reported and tracked with appropriate progress. . Work across multiple application teams and vendors to get the interlocking done and align their delivery timeline with the project plan. . Facilitate meetings/conversation between various application teams, Infrastructure, Security and CTO teams. . Participate in change planning and implementation. . Prepare various materials for working groups and programme forum and participate in all such working groups and programme forums to provide the updates to stakeholders and track actions. . Effectively manage the change to the project scope, schedule, cost, assess the impact and follow appropriate governance to raise and get the change approved. . Create, update and track all the project artefacts throughout project life cycle, like project charter, business case document, project plan, RAIDs tracker, project closure, and lessons learnt. . Provide project status reporting and update for all the stakeholders through various forums, reports and dashboards. What we're looking for: . Experience and high skills in project management knowledge and ability to apply the same in actual project management. . Consistent record of successfully delivering large scale projects . Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly . Experience of working with business stakeholders at all level of the organisation. . Effective interpersonal and communication skills. . Analytical skills to manage technical deliveries by closely working with the interfacing teams including but not limited Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Development, testing, Requirements, Compliance, Info Security, Data Privacy team . Experience and efficiency in using various project management and reporting tool such as MPP, Agile Central, Jira, Excel, Sharepoint, Confluence and Power Point. . Knowledge and experience in software development methodologies, Agile, Waterfall, DevOps. . Minimum education qualification-Graduate Skills that will help you in the role: . PMP Certification, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional or equivalent (i.e. Scrum.org or Scrum Alliance qualifications). . Corporate Banking/Billing Domain Background.
