Our client is bidding for work on the Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project and they are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Project Director.This bid will close in October 2025 and the work is expected to start around March 2026.Location: Mumbai / Ahmedabad / SuratMissions/Main Duties- Project Director (PD) shall have overall responsibility for the successful conclusion of the project.- PD shall oversee Deputy Project Director and all Chief Experts, who coordinate teams to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget, to a high standard of Safety, quality and other key performance parameters. PD shall act as a bridge between the Project Management Consultant, the Client and other stakeholders including regular interaction with the Client.- PD is desired to be with strong experience in Rail based Transit System project(s).- Responsible for every phase of the project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through construction, testing, commissioning, and final closeout.- PD has ultimate responsibility for the project budget.- Strategically allocate and manage resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure optimal project performance and success.- PD ensures that all project activities, from design to construction, adhere to the highest quality standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements. This includes overseeing quality assurance processes and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance.Job RequirementsAge:- Less than 60 Years (preferred)- Must be below 70 yearsEducational Qualification:- Postgraduate / Doctorate in relevant field (preferred)- Graduate Engineering degree in relevant field (minimum)Experience:- Overall more than 25 years of experience in Railways/Metro.- More than 20 years of experience in Signalling & Telecommunication system works in *High-Speed / *Semi High-Speed / *Metro Rail Project(s)- More than 7 years of experience during construction phase as in-charge for Signalling & Telecommunication system works in *High-Speed / *Semi High-Speed Rail Project.*High Speed: ETCS based projects with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph*Semi High Speed: Projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph*Metro: Excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems
