Responsibilities The incumbent is Adani Airports' Environment & Sustainability planner with hands-on expertise in developing and implementing short- and long-term plans for environmental & sustainability issues to lead the environmental impact assessments and obtain all required Environment approvals. Water and Energy conservation program- Audit, Action plan, monitoring cycle. Assessment of likely environment impact on air, water and noise environment. Develop benchmarks and best practices guide for water, energy consumption. Monitoring and evaluation of environmental impact during project implementation Conduct Environment and safety audit. Prepare ESMS documents compliant with IFC standards. Develop key sustainability performance indices. Plan and prepare annual budgets for sustainability and EHS Projects. Implement rainwater harvesting and promote water conservation. Preparation of PFBR, EIA & EMP, DMP for EC. Preparation of six-monthly compliance reports, submission to MoEF and MPCB and other authorities, monthly monitoring report for submission to statutory authorities. Track new developments in the sustainability area and facilitation of strategic decision to adopt. Align sustainability program Prepare specific program / guidelines for ensuring reduction in carbon footprint, utilization of renewal energy, regeneration of local eco-system in planning, Construction and operations of the Airport Social Impact Study and Marine Impact Assessment. monitoring of Air & Water and Noise levels. Disposal of hazardous waste. Co-ordinate with BNHS for ongoing study on Avian Fauna. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Environment Planning / Environment Management / Ecology Preferably Post graduate Degree / Diploma in Environment. M Plan (EPM) / Environment Management / Ecology or Climate change / Renewal energy system Required experience 4 - 8 years.
