Job level - P3 Report To Manager PXBP Location Chennai Position Summary A hands-on role that will be responsible for strong business engagement in talent objectives, including but not limited to: performance management, employee relations, total rewards, coaching, change management, restructuring, succession planning, culture development and talent analytics The PXBP will engage in a true business partnership approach, championing the needs of the business while operating in a balanced and collaborative way within the broader matrixed organization and worldwide PX team. Responsibilities Business Partner - Actively engage with business stakeholders to gain a good understanding of the business, Partner with PXBP Manager and PX Team to Identify challenges and opportunities, along with talent implications of each and work to develop/implement talent objectives required to achieve business goals. Instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs/initiatives PX Consultant - Provide PX subject matter expertise, with the support of the PXBP manager, manage and coordinate the implementation of global PX programs, processes and systems. Partner with PX Centers of Excellence (COE) to review business Initiatives and recommend solutions that require COE partnership. Assist Managers and employees in the navigation and implementation of company process and HR systems Relationship and communication - Build strong relationships within the assigned client group and global PX in order to communicate and align business and PX strategy. Be an exceptional communicator - able to listen deeply, articulate clearly with all levels of audience and write succinctly. Management & Employee development - Work with management and PXBP manager and PX team to define learning and development needs of the organization and implement appropriate solutions Change Agent - Act as a liaison for leading change Organizational Development - Partner to define and develop the appropriate organizational design and culture to grow and sustain the business and engage employees. Employee Engagement - Collaborate with management to keep a pulse on the employee engagement levers. Drive action to create a positive energized work environment Coach and Mediate - Provide support to the PXBP Manager to address employee relations challenges through a variety of investigative, coaching and mediation techniques. Bring an objective, mature, professional approach to listening and resolution. Determine root causes of issues and apply a systematic approach and recommend solutions consistent with legal requirements and Trimble values. Global Awareness - Work effectively in a matured, global organization. Appreciation of diversity and willingness to learn cultural differences. People Analytics - Review and analyze business-specific data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and employee experience Desired Characteristics Master's degree in HR and/or MBA 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience in fast-paced, high rate-of-change environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of Human Resources principles, local labour law and best practices Proven success in delivering high-impact people operations programs around performance management, culture, team member engagement, and leadership effectiveness. Good presentation skills Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results Ability to effectively work both independently with the support of PXBP Manager and collaboratively with a matrixed PX team. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to a constantly changing business environment Strong team player with positive, Optimistic solutions-oriented approach Experience working in a matrixed and decentralized organizational structure is highly preferred. Prior experience working for a US corporation is highly preferred.
