- 10+ years of overall experience with 4+ years on AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI
- Strong experience in statistical analysis, experimentation, and data‑driven problem solving
- Designing and developing end‑to‑end ML models — from data exploration to production deployment
- Hands‑on experience building:
- Predictive models
- Classification and regression models
- Clustering & segmentation
- Time‑series forecasting
- Optimization models
- Expertise in feature engineering, data preprocessing, and handling large, messy, real‑world datasets
- Experience with ML lifecycle: model training, validation, evaluation, monitoring, and retraining
- Ability to work with big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, EMR, or similar)
- Experience operationalizing ML using REST APIs, batch jobs, or cloud AI/ML services
- Understanding of MLOps concepts (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, model drift, monitoring)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong proficiency in Python, including scientific and ML libraries:
- pandas
- NumPy
- scikit‑learn
- TensorFlow / PyTorch
- Statsmodels
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, and experiment design (A/B tests)
- Hands‑on experience with SQL and working with relational & NoSQL databases
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical solutions
- Strong data visualization skills using:
- Matplotlib / Seaborn
- Plotly
- Power BI / Tableau (optional)
- Experience building reusable analytical pipelines and automation frameworks
- Understanding of feature stores, data pipelines, and production ML patterns
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to business and technical team.
- Experience with LLM‑based analytics, embeddings, or GenAI for data workflows
- Familiarity with AutoML platforms (H2O, DataRobot, SageMaker Autopilot, Vertex AI, etc.)
- Exposure to Graph ML, NLP, or Computer Vision
- Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning or causal inference
- Strong domain knowledge in BFSI, risk modeling, fraud detection, or customer analytics (if applicable)
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
