With a legacy of excellence, the company focuses on quality, efficiency, and responsible sourcing practices.Job Objective:To lead the procurement operations as the second-in-command to the HOD, ensuring timely sourcing of raw materials, machinery, and other indirect materials while maintaining cost efficiency and high-quality standards. The role demands strategic planning, vendor management, and team leadership to support production and operational goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to support production schedules.Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials such as pulp, chemicals, packaging materials, and engineering items.Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.Lead price negotiations and contract management while ensuring cost optimization.Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.Work closely with production, quality, stores, and finance departments for procurement alignment.Monitor procurement budgets, maintain records, and analyze purchasing trends.Assist HOD in strategic decision-making and vendor development plans.Ensure compliance with internal processes, GST norms, and regulatory standards.Guide and supervise a team of junior purchase executives and staff.Implement ERP-based systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally) for streamlined procurement processes.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong negotiation and vendor management skillsIn-depth knowledge of raw materials used in paper/pulp manufacturingExcellent leadership, coordination, and team management abilitiesProficient in using ERP systems for procurement operationsStrong analytical and decision-making skillsFamiliarity with commercial terms, GST, and supply chain regulationsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environmentEducational Qualifications:Graduate in Engineering / Science / CommerceMBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or Operations (Preferred)Why Join Nath Industries:Opportunity to work with one of India’s respected paper manufacturing brandsDynamic work environment with professional growth opportunitiesStrong focus on innovation and sustainabilityCompetitive salary and leadership exposure
