As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.Job responsibilities:

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Ensure database performance, stability, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Contribute to the design and architecture of database solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing database systems with a focus on stability and resiliency.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
9+ years of hands-on experience in database engineering, with a focus on Any RDBMS viz. Sybase / Oracle / Postgres.
Proficiency in SQL, query optimization, and stored procedure development.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Ability to solve complex problems and a proven track record of high performance and delivery.

Strong communication and team-working skills.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience working in financial services, preferably in a Trade management setup.
Understanding of equity/credit derivatives trading and products.
Experience with NoSQL databases and caching technologies.
Experience working on AWS.
A desire to learn about the Derivatives domain and technology.
