• Number of design reviews conducted including verification and providing critical feedback.
• Adherence to project timeline for the design review case studies.
• Ensuring FTR (First time right) on the electronic circuitry design.
• Innovations in functional as well as cost-optimized design solutions.
• Selection of wireless communication technologies meeting the application and customer requirements.
• Execute complex calculations, worst-case circuit analysis and simulation studies using product standards and individual knowledge.
• Analysing test data, eliminating errors, modifying existing hardware, and designing hardware for electrical devices.
• Creating hardware designs, testing models, revising, and improving old equipment, and inspecting the development of designs.
• Ensuring products comply with necessary regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
• Creating, modifying, and updating engineering documentation and change notices.
• Supporting the manufacturing group in the selection and approval of alternate components and suppliers.
• Designing and developing new products and sustaining/supporting existing products.

• Active participation in the design reviews in the product development process, including the understanding of customer requirements and mapping to CTQ (critical to quality) design features.
• Work closely with Product engineers to scrutinize design concepts for cost, lead time, quality, standardization, supply assurance, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
• Conduct software simulations to achieve optimum design and provide analysis reports on the design with feedback and enhancements if any needed.
• Interpret the results from CAE tools effectively and inculcate the culture of built-in quality (DFQ - design for quality) in product designing.
• Assist the new product development team with rapid prototyping techniques, testing and validation of proto samples.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that product meets customer specifications.
• Work with the manufacturing department to ensure that the product designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology in Electronics/Instrumentation with 2-3 years post qualification experience.
• Must have worked in industries related to products dealing with transmission and distribution power sector.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of product design principles (DFSS, APQP, etc.)
• Demonstrable proficiency in E-CAD software is needed.
• Hands-on on simulation software like PSpice/LTSpice etc.
• Pre-compliance measurements of high-speed interface parameters on USB2.0/3.0/3.1, S-ATA Gen3, PCIe Gen3, SDIO, LPDDR4 interfaces.
• Good knowledge and experience in Analog, Digital circuits, Power electronics circuits design.
