We're looking for a software engineer to:

Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as a digital leader in financial services
Analyze business requirements for the Compute Platform Team with regards to virtual server provisioning and migrations
Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
Provide technical expertise on existing service automations and support initiatives to improve these processes according to global stakeholders revolving requirements
Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
Adhere to proper operational controls and procedures to ensure implementation enhancements move from test to production in an effective manner - assist reliability teams with support during early phases of implementation
Coordinate with other groups in engineering on delivery of large scale programs which involve many different endpoint cooperation - streamline workflows across the estate

You will be part of the Compute Platform Team, which has a global footprint and works with clients and wider team members spread across the world. Together we drive consistency across business divisions and optimize operations and support costs by providing timely, robust, cost effective solutions and products to our clients.You'll be working in the IAAS Engineering Team, as part of the Technology division in Pune. As an Infrastructure Tech Engineer, you'll play an important role in engineering tooling to support the Infrastructure As A Service provisioning techniques. You will manage solutions to provision to Cloud & hybrid IAAS landing zones, as well as tooling to migrate between the different zones when needed. You will have capability to provide infrastructure observability tooling to enhance the end user experience and will work with other teams like Operating Systems, Middleware, Storage, Database, Containers, to introduce more reliable and efficient ways to automate existing processes. Confidence and mature experience in developing solutions for IAAS at large scale
Very good technical writing skills (runbooks, staging guides)
Experience of HPE, Dell, ESXi & HyperV technologies, KVM experience also a plus
Experience in IAAS migration technologies - both existing legacy onprem and Azure offerings
Knowledge of programming in Azure capable languages, such as ARM, PowerShell, yaml and an understanding of API's
Understanding and ability to update existing codebase using Python, XML, ASP, JSON
Experience with Containers and AI technology a plus
