- Cloud Sales Specialists are primarily responsible for selling cloud services and solutions to clients.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting cloud computing and AI-driven solution markets.
- Identify, qualify, and engage potential enterprise clients in various industries to promote cloud and AI products and services.
- Pitch and sell cloud services and solutions to prospective and existing clients
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline and forecast business opportunities
- Provide technical presentations and demonstrations of cloud-based solutions
- Work closely with the technical team to design and implement cloud-based solutions tailored to the clients’ needs
- Negotiate and close sales deals in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and set individual sales goals
- Collaborate closely with solution architects and technical teams to develop customized proposals and ensure successful implementation.
- Maintain deep industry and competitor knowledge to refine sales strategies and advise product development teams.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Track sales metrics, manage CRM pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 10-12 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within cloud computing and/or AI-driven solution environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and AI technologies (machine learning, natural language processing, automation).
- Excellent consultative sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex enterprise deals.
- Experience in managing long sales cycles and developing large-scale sales pipelines.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and AI-related credentials are highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
