Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Incharge to oversee the maintenance activities at our Cement & Steel Plant in Surat, Gujarat, India. As the Plant Maintenance Incharge, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all plant equipment and machinery. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in plant maintenance. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Plant Maintenance Incharge in a Cement or Steel Plant. Strong knowledge of plant maintenance best practices and industry standards. Excellent leadership and management skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Roles And Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive plant maintenance program for the Cement & Steel Plant. Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of all plant equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime. Manage a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and training as needed. Oversee the procurement and inventory management of spare parts and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities. Schedule and execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of plant equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during plant operations. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services. Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
