Head the land acquisition team for a leading organization in Renewable Energy with pan India responsibility. You will be leading a team of land acquisition managers to assist in growth of projects in different states of India.
  • Acquisition of land for setting up of solar projects, related documentation, due diligence, title search reports and land maps, identify aggregators for smooth acquisition of land.
  • Own, drive, and lead project development (land, grid connection, permitting, power offtake) of acquired projects to ready-to-build status, and monitor progress against approved timeline, budget, and quality targets.
  • Responsible for land purchases/ acquisition of land for industrial and commercial purposes and all relevant government procedures.
  • Get involved in forest land application and acquisition, survey forest office queries redressal, preparation of necessary drawings and documents.
  • Oversee entire process of lease and possession.
  • Acquisition of compensation land and related activities of afforestation.
  • Deal with vendors, consultants, land agents internal departments for various development activities such as WRD, project execution and marketing, engineering.
  • Liaison with private/ Govt. survey teams for completion of field inspection of our acquired area.

  • 15+ yrs of experience in land acquisition involving (Revenue/Forest/Pvt Land) exploring potential site acquisitions, preparing valuation reports for acquisition, and holding negotiations to acquire land and property.
  • Prior experience of renewable energy/solar sector is mandatory with ample exposure to relevant laws, acts, compliance at both central and state level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Expertise in project development including land acquisition, environmental assessment, permitting, stakeholder management, and transmission interconnection management.
  • Excellent networking skills and have contacts in relevant fields.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a team & guide and support team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively.
