Expert FE Engineer: minimum 6-15 years in structural component design or one of the relevant gear unit technologies (component design, gear or bearing technology, auxiliary development)Country/Region: India
Location: CoimbatoreWhat you can look forward to as FE Engineer
  • Develop structural components technologies for individual components and sub-assemblies taking along the “internal” product requirements from an NVH, gears, TDI, cost-perspective.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to 8D or RCA's
  • Identification of research partners, initiating and follow up of research projects. Take the lead in shaping the technology roadmap on structural components development
Your profile as FE Engineer
  • Expert on structural components with an affinity for new technologies
  • Good insights in gearbox system behaviour / Translating into structural comp,requirement
  • Good skills in modelling casted parts (background on casting production process)
  • Good skills on Topology optimization (strength/stress in Ansys or similar e.g.Optistruct )
  • Good skills CAD software (Creo) / parametrized models, FEA software (Ansys)
  • Knowledge about cost optimal designs. Able to use job specific/technical language in English
  • Willingness to sporadically travel
