You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our Observability Platform, as well as collaborating with other teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, performant and observable.What you’ll doWe operate in a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of applications and infrastructure. Our team takes a DevOps approach, fostering close collaboration between development and operations to ensure smooth delivery and optimal performance. As an Observability Engineer, you'll play a vital role in this by:Relevant experience in designing, implementing and maintaining our Observability platform using tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus and Splunk.Developing instrumentation strategies to capture relevant telemetry data for comprehensive visibility.Utilising data visualisation tools to analyse trends, identify anomalies and diagnose issues proactively.Create and optimise alerting systems to provide timely notifications for potential problems.Work in a DevOps environment, using continuous delivery best practices.Collaborating with developers and operations teams to translate insights into actionable improvements.Stay up-to-date on the latest observability trends and technologies.Mentor and collaborate with other engineers to promote a culture of learning and innovation.The way we workWe also think hard about our ways of working as a company.
