Design, implement, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters to support containerized applications in a production environment.
Collaborate with development teams to define AKS architecture, including cluster design, networking, security, and scalability.
Automate deployment and operations tasks using Azure DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and configuration management tools.
Implement best practices for AKS cluster configuration, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of AKS clusters through proactive monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
Configure and manage Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Policy to enforce compliance and security standards.
Configure and manage Istio service mesh for traffic management, load balancing, and security in Kubernetes environments.
Deploy and configure NGINX or other Ingress controllers to manage external access to Kubernetes services and applications.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools to ensure the reliability and performance of cloud services.
Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards for Azure resources and Kubernetes clusters.
Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for building, testing, and deploying applications.
Automate deployment and management tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and Azure CLI.

Desired Profile

4-5 years of experience in Azure Cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Istio, and Ingress controllers.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for automating Azure resource provisioning.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline automation and version control (Azure Repos).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed cloud environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
