- Telecom network experience with working-level knowledge across 4G/5G/O-RAN, IoT, telco cloud, NFV/SDN, network slicing, orchestration, automation, and edge computing.
- In-depth understanding of telecom network nodes, interfaces, and security protocols; ability to critique telecom standards (3GPP, ORAN) from a security lens.
- Proficiency with global cybersecurity and trust frameworks: EU 5G Toolbox, NIST CSF, ITU-T, NIS-2; and compliance standards like ISO 27001; familiarity with GDPR and NDPA Act 2023 is advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital infrastructure components such as cloud computing, data centers, and network virtualization technologies
- Capability to assess SBA vulnerabilities, cloud/edge security, vendor diversity and supply chain integrity, lawful interception safeguards, and consumer protection in telecom contexts.
- Strong advisory, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to develop actionable recommendations and articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Stakeholder engagement and consultation experience across operators, vendors, regulators, and national security stakeholders (e.g., ONSA or equivalent), including multi-tenant 5G contexts.
- Up-to-date understanding of evolving telecom security trends and critical infrastructure protection.
- Subject matter expertise in telecom security (RAN/core/telco cloud), IoT infrastructure security, and policy/regulatory dimensions (lawful interception, data governance).
- Ability to operate in high-pressure, unstructured environments; self-driven and collaborative with strong client-facing presence including CXO engagement.
- Consulting experience in similar firms or directly with telcos; attention to detail with high-quality outputs.
- Experience engaging with telecom regulators and national security stakeholders (e.g., TRAI/NCSC/CERT-In/NCCC or equivalent) and delivering capacity-building/training.
- Exposure to multiple geographies and global client environments; US/EMEA experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) and demonstrable alignment with ISO 27001/NIST.
- A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate security challenges in rapidly evolving digital infrastructure landscapes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across digital infrastructure industries
- High-quality end-to-end assessments of telecom networks and digital infrastructure with clear, prioritized mitigation strategies.
- Practical, localized roadmap and governance recommendations that balance resilience, trust, and economic realities; strong stakeholder buy-in through structured consultations and workshops.
