sources for any exceptions, calculations of eligible and ineligible ITC and filing of returns, filing of
refund claims under GST law.
2. Support the GST annual returns and make sure that accurate reporting is made for all the transactions
undertaken by the company during the year.
3. Responsible for submissions in relation to assessment, Audit, notices, and appellate proceedings in
various states and providing support in representation before the tax authorities across India.
4. Managing tax accounting in SAP based ERP environment, assisting in MIS sent to various stakeholders
and supporting in meeting the statutory audit requirements.
5. Monitoring tax balances in books of account along with the possible ways to liquidate the tax assets in
a timely manner. Also, effective coordination with the finance teams for proper accounting of taxes.
6. Adaptive to technological changes – understand the various existing tax technology tools and bring in
new ideas and design efficient and effective processes to deliver services and identify opportunities for
improvement within the tax function.
7. Tax planning for the company and its JVs & subsidiaries and advising the business on various indirect
tax matters.
8. Support in timely handling and completion of statutory/cost/tax audits including effective
coordination with Auditors and Finance Teams.
9. Managing the team who would be supporting in routine compliances/ audits/ litigation work. Also,
responsible for coordination with the Tax consultants in relation to queries with regards to
Assessments, Appeals and Tax Compliances
10. Keeping the internal stakeholders updated about various tax implications on a continuing basis.
11. Lead the tax automation initiatives within the company to keep pace with the statutory requirements.
