Job Description Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Responsible for developing and/or validating software that enables Intel GPUs. Scope will span from firmware and device drivers through APIs and the application layer, and may also include the tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions. Learning the graphics core architecture, including one or more of: 3D, blitter, media, encode/decode, compute, display, or virtualization/memory-management. Designing and developing tool features and extensions in an Agile environment. Collaborating with design, architecture, pre-and post-silicon validation, and graphics driver development and functional simulation to make sure all aspects of our architecture are covered. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience Solid Computer Programming Skills 2+ years' experience with C++ 2+ years' experience with object-oriented software development, data structures, memory management, multi-threaded execution, and recursion Understanding of computer architecture (virtual memory, caching, multiprocessing, pipelining, etc) Experience working with and/or developing device drivers Advanced English level Additional qualifications include: Graphics Architecture/pipeline knowledge (3D, compute, media encode/decode, display, etc.) Working in Linux Familiar with scripting languages like Ruby/Python Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have the ability to work independently and in teams Good Stakeholder and conflict management skills Excellent verbal communication skills, written communication skills and presentation skills Agile/Scrum expertise Working with teams/customers across different Geos Ability to work in dynamic and team oriented environment Inside this Business Group The Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intel's PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in ones.
