Role Overview -We are looking for a high-impact Sales Strategy professional to design, drive, and optimize the end-to-end sales strategy for our real estate portfolio across the Mumbai market. The role will work closely with Sales, Marketing, CRM, Channel Partners, and Leadership to translate business objectives into actionable, revenue-driven strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Planning- Own and drive the overall sales strategy for residential / commercial projects across Mumbai and nearby markets- Develop project-wise and city-level sales plans, pricing strategies, inventory phasing, and absorption targets- Define quarterly and annual sales forecasts, targets, and performance benchmarksMarket Intelligence & Analytics- Conduct in-depth market, micro-market, and competitor analysis (pricing, inventory, positioning, absorption trends)- Use data to identify demand trends, buyer behaviour, and channel effectiveness- Track and analyze sales funnel metrics, conversion ratios, and ROI across channelsSales Enablement & Process Optimization- Work closely with on-ground sales teams to improve productivity, conversion, and velocity- Design and implement sales processes, playbooks, and SOPs- Recommend improvements in CRM usage, lead management, and customer journeyChannel & Marketing Collaboration- Strategize channel partner engagement models, incentives, and performance tracking- Align closely with Marketing to define campaign strategy, lead mix, and budget allocation- Support launch strategies for new projects, including GTM planningLeadership & Stakeholder Management- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on sales performance and growth opportunities- Present regular MIS, dashboards, and insights to management- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, CRM, and OperationsKey Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of the Mumbai real estate market and adjacent regions- Proven experience in sales strategy, planning, analytics, and forecasting- Ability to translate data into clear business decisions and actions- Strong financial and commercial acumen (pricing, margins, absorption)- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills- High ownership mindset with a bias for executionPreferred Background- 3-8 years of experience in real estate sales strategy / sales planning / business strategy- Prior experience working with developers, real estate consultancies, or proptech firms- MBA from IIMs or equivalent Tier-1 institutions preferred (ref:updazz.com)
