Job Description Role Purpose This leadership position has a combined responsibility for Global Professional Services Sales, Business Development and Delivery including working with managed services team for appropriate post-sales support to customers. The Business Manager will manage the Cybersecurity, Digital and Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) businesses and resources aligned to the region to drive business results. This business is collectively known as CDM. Responsibilities include overall management of the total Professional Services business achieve annual revenue, operating earnings, resource utilization, productivity, customer satisfaction index targets and other business objectives of each business. The Business Manager is also responsible for driving out key initiatives to realize the benefits of jointly managing the Cyber, Digital and MOM businesses. The position leads the development and execution of business strategy and initiatives through a team Global Business Unit leaders, Regional Delivery Managers, Center of Excellence and Innovation Center Managers, engineers, design, proposal, project management, field technical support, training and asset management professionals, project resources, engineers, training instructors and coordinators, asset management professionals and administrative personnel. The Business Manager will also work closely with the regional and sub-regional leadership for Lifecycle Services and Global Sales & Marketing to ensure the success of the business. Key Responsibilities Drive combined Professional Services (Cyber, Digital and MOM) P&L while realizing the benefits of joining the management of the BUs under one organizational structure. Develop & implement annual business strategies (BSR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP, and execution plans with alignment to Global CDM, Regional Lifecycle Services and Regional Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) focus to realize the benefits and synergies of a combined CDM business including plan for performance and growth (orders, shipments, growth initiatives, expenses), investment allocation, market focus plan and strategy. Responsible for development and execution of regional application teams; channel strategy, growth objectives, target market, applications, customers, technologies, pricing strategies, core competencies and programs Provide strategic insight and subject matter expertise to sales organization and other stakeholders and take an active role in joint sales calls and large account presentations, proposal management and review, where necessary. Ensure goal alignment and collaboration between LCS, BU and Sales, Industry, CSM, OEM, Market Access, Contracts and Marketing teams. Responsible (with Regional Delivery Managers) for strategic organization planning, management and development of team including hiring, retention, performance review, coaching & development. Continuously provide market intelligence on PAM, market share, product positioning, commercial positioning and competitor information. Identify opportunities for partnering with third parties (vendors and strategic system integrators, etc.) who support the business strategy and provide added growth in revenue and profit. Provide continuous coaching to team, develop technical, business and leadership competency; develop future LCS leaders and retain top talent. Work as a member of the LCS and GSM leadership team and participate in cross regional projects / best practices sharing as necessary. Responsible for delivering great customer experience. OVERSEE Oversee the implementation of regional business strategy / plan including resource allocation and effectiveness. Collaborate with functional leads to manage local commercial, delivery and operational functions to ensure overall efficiency / excellence. Oversee the service delivery of solutions / services (through Regional Delivery Managers) in assigned geography to ensure quality delivery, customer satisfaction and operation efficiency. Reviews project performance for assigned industry / application. Responsible for program management, design and engineering functions. Responsible for the identification, implementation, and successful proliferation of focused applications in the assigned industry / application. Oversee the collaboration with GEBS, Delivery Excellence and Global Project Management teams for standardized experience for our customers. What You Have General management, leadership skills and performance driven. Leading change & culture transformation (e.g. D&I) and managing change. Highly collaborative, proficient to manage matrix reporting teams and multiple stakeholders. Customer focus, innovative, drive value and sustainable growth to customers Intermediate level of expertise in managing P&L and general accounting principles. Basic understanding of all RA products. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 12 years management experience. 15+ sales, business management or marketing experience preferably in automation industry with at least 8 years' experience in managing a team.
