Our real-world practitioners work collaboratively to deliver future-focused outcomes.Position Summary:The Associate Director - Technology, with 10-14 years of experience, will oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of software applications across the organization. This leadership role involves end-to-end ownership of large-scale projects, multiple small to medium initiatives, or strategic product portfolios. The individual will be responsible for defining technology roadmaps, driving innovation, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, and aligning technical goals with overall business objectives.The role requires strong expertise in project and program management, including planning, execution, resource allocation, budgeting, risk mitigation, and effective stakeholder communication. The Director must demonstrate strong technical acumen, team leadership, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in the design, development, maintenance, and support of software applications with proven hands-on experience in:
  • Python Django
  • React.js
  • RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Experience with open-source technologies and modern development frameworks.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with database migration and ORM tools like Liquibase or Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., AWS DevOps), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), including deployment, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Strong knowledge of application security best practices and data protection principles.
  • Proven ability to write clean, efficient code and debug effectively.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Added Advantage:
  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, and libraries like scikit-learn.
  • Practical application of statistical analysis, machine learning, and mathematical modeling concepts.
