Design, Develop, Test, and Validate application solutions using Java for Finance platforms based on the business requirements
Development of Java backend especially in Core JAVA, MQ, Kafka,ReactJS,HTML5,REST API
Sound fundamentals in Java, design patterns, requirement understanding, unit-testing.
Should possess a strong working experience in Java Architecture, development, related SDLC processes, excellent JEE, messaging (MQ) and database knowledge.
Sound knowledge/experience on PL/SQL and SQL programming to an extent to carry out the necessary Application development and integration work.
Work on critical Development, Support and enhancement requests, and ensure the availability, accessibility and accuracy of the data delivered from these platforms.
Issue debugging, investigate application related issues, handle and respond to critical application related support issues raised by the business with appropriate fix or technical resolution within a short span of time.
Understanding the business requirements and converting to the technical requirements
Review and guide the deliverables of the junior developers in the team.

Provide plans and estimation of the development tasks assigned
Communicate effectively within the team and with business colleagues to carry out project related tasks smoothly in a coordinated approach.
Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment.
Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
Implement unit test automation using Junit, Karma or Mocha or similar tools
Design and code applications for cloud, leveraging Cloud native architecture principles and technologies
Work with infrastructure and other related teams to ensure deployment and operationalization of cloud applications.
Quickly evaluate various technologies and complete POC driving architecture design for the applications
Work in complex environment with multi location teams.
Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
Experience in DevOPS is a plus with hands on experience in Jenkins, Git and any one artifactory tool.

6+ Years Development of Backend and web application using Java
5+ Years Exp in Core Java/ J2EE
3+ Years Exp in SQL/ PLSQL (Prefer Oracle database)
3+ Years Exp in MQ (Middle Tier) , Kafka (Service to Service communication)
3+ Years Exp in Javascript or any other javascript based web technology
Very good knowledge of Java, Restful webservices, Springboot, React js and Database
Having hands on and design experience in Springboot, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes technologies is a plus.
Experience in implementing Microservices is a plus
Ability to suggest innovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends.
Work closely with product owner to deeply understand the requirement and translate into scalable and forward looking design.
Define CI/CD model that ensures entire Agile team performs continuous integration between front-end and back-end constantly and instantly via API co-creation, tech discussion, co-debugging/fixing, and continuous deployment in Dev/UAT/Prod environments.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or closely related subject.
10+ years of experience in application design, development and support of large enterprise Web applications
Very good knowledge of Java, Restful webservices, Springboot, React js and Database.
Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting aspects.
Understanding of data security and data access controls and design aspects
Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Very good command of written and spoken English.
