Join us and be part of an amazing team that is transforming the future of world trade.Role Purpose:The Manager - Accounting & Reconciliaiton will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations in Accounts Payable (AP), and Record-to-Report (R2R) functions. The role requires strong operational execution, stakeholder coordination, and a focus on process accuracy, compliance, and team development. The incumbent will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.Designation: Manager - Accounting and ReconciliaitonBase Location: Navi MumbaiReporting to: Senior Manager - FinanceKey Accountabilities:

Manage operational delivery of AP, AR, and R2R processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to timelines.
Act as the first point of contact for issue resolution, escalations, and exception handling in finance operations.
Supervise day-to-day activities of the team, including invoice processing, payments, customer collections, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies, accounting standards, and applicable statutory regulations.
Monitor KPIs, process metrics, and performance dashboards; initiate corrective actions where required.
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and IT to support end-to-end finance activities.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
Contribute to automation initiatives, ERP enhancements, and process standardization projects.
Guide and coach team members to develop their functional knowledge and performance.
Coordinate with auditors (internal/external) to support audit processes and provide timely responses to audit queries.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions and approvals

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. CA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Good understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Willingness to work in shifts as per business requirement, including night shift if required.Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to AP, AR, and R2R processes.
Experience in managing teams and working in a shared services or multinational environment is desirable.
Prior involvement in process improvement or ERP implementation projects is an added advantage.
