- Lead cross-functional teams in large-scale workshops to translate complex business drivers, imperatives, and vision into high-level Operating Models that align with the future state Business Architecture. You will also be expected to take initiative in researching new ideas, assessing their impact, value, and risks, and promoting wider industry developments and functional best practices during engagements with senior stakeholders.
- Define programme/ portfolio strategy and influence stakeholders to agree on budget, schedule, and resources to deliver scope. Work with Senior leadership across Business, Technology and Operations to define and deliver large scale/ organization wide programs in support of the Value Stream backlog, evolving the team culture to deliver on the roles and responsibilities within a Value Stream, in alignment with the Value Stream operating model.
- Provide oversight of progress and reporting on governance and controls for high priority initiatives and projects by actively engaging senior stakeholders. You will align wider portfolio planning across the practice to minimize 'bench time' and manage a single source of truth for portfolio prioritization, reporting, decision making, and escalation. Additionally, you will support Quarterly Business Reviews and cost benefit analysis to ensure effective portfolio management
- Be accountable for ensuring that your teams have the necessary skills to deliver the required change outcomes, and that the performance of strategic partners meets the required standards. You will also be responsible for managing the costs of change, headcount, risks, and issues.
- Be responsible for staying well-informed about emerging technology and innovation, and how this can be applied to solve challenges and improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the bank, and customer and colleague experience.
- Embed sustainable business outcomes while seamlessly transitioning to business as usual. Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy and drive the change adoption activities to ensure the change aligns with strategic business outcomes and fosters continuous improvement.
- To demonstrate practicality and flexibility in planning, prioritization of tasks, deliverables, and resources, efficiently adapting to unforeseen changes. The ideal candidate should be able to test, learn and suggest alternative improved ways of doing things while challenging status quo.
- To have a comprehensive understanding of the entire change process, from creating business cases to mobilising change. Conduct business analysis to design approaches, plans and solutions while assessing their impact on the operating model.
- Experience in managing material changes to scope, schedule, resources or budget leveraging change request processes. Understand and advocate design thinking principles and their application throughout the change ideation and delivery lifecycle.
- Proven capability in successfully designing, managing, and implementing large scale, global/ regional change initiatives in accordance with way of working adhering to the Change Framework Work while employing iterative delivery techniques.
- Excellent inter-personal skills with proven expertise in translating complex information into clear and concise messages that influence stakeholders and assert credibility. Additionally, coordinating with multiple cross functional delivery teams and stakeholders to get key decisions taken within desired timelines.
- Strong understanding of change adoption activities to ensure seamless embedding of change and drive benefit realization, combined with exceptional program and project management skills to maintain momentum and deliver strategic changes with both quality and pace.
- In-depth knowledge of risk and control taxonomy encompassing the identification, ownership, management and reporting of inherent and residual risks and controls positions.
