- Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and finalisation of external audit engagements.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial statements in accordance with ASA.
- Review and verify financial records, reports, and internal control processes.
- Prepare workpapers and audit documentation in compliance with firm and professional standards.
- Liaise with onshore audit managers and partners to clarify requirements and timelines.
- Identify audit issues and communicate findings with recommendations.
- Use audit software and tools such as CaseWare, MYOB, Xero, or APS.
- Maintain current knowledge of Australian financial reporting and auditing regulations.
- Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part-qualified or qualified CA/CMA/CPA/ACCA.
- 1–3 years of audit experience, preferably in a public accounting or outsourcing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software (e.g., CaseWare, Xero, MYOB, or similar).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
