As a MBA Intern at Hashed Emergent, you will play a crucial role in supporting key functions related to strategy, business development, and new initiatives. This dynamic position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gaining insights into the world of venture capital in the web3 space. Role & Responsibilities: Assist in researching and analysing market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in web3 technologies Contribute to the development and refinement of the overall strategic vision for Hashed Emergent Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic priorities and implement initiatives to achieve organisational goals Support the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities in web3 startups within emerging markets Assist in conducting due diligence on prospective projects, including market analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment Engage with entrepreneurs and startups, fostering relationships and representing Hashed Emergent professionally Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to conceptualise and implement new initiatives aligned with the fund's mission and vision Participate in the planning and execution of pilot programs or experimental projects to test innovative concepts Monitor and report on the progress of new initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field or equivalent practical experience. Strong interest in web3 technologies, blockchain, and emerging markets Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and event participants. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in event coordination. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and the willingness to travel as required. Familiarity with venture capital, startups, or the web3 ecosystem is a plus
