SRE Engineer

• Manage and support infrastructure for modern, mid-scale, highly resilient, distributed messaging and services, tools, and applications for use by internal teams and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with your team to own solutions through the entire SDLC including design, implementation, deployment, testing, quality, security, compliance, monitoring, and support, while targeting operational excellence.
• Implement build, deployment, and test automation to ensure high quality and enable continuous delivery.
• Adjust positively to quickly changing priorities and shifting goals while striving for continuous improvement of code quality, infrastructure, development, and operational practices.
• Assist the team in identifying and monitoring key metrics to support operational excellence of active systems.
• General infrastructure support for maintenance and compliance, e.g. server patching, monitoring, and audit report generation.
• Mentor others on the team and raise the bar for technical knowledge across a wide spectrum.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of information technology concepts issues, trends and best practices as they relate to Cloud technologies and system integrations.
• Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals

• Strong proficiency in Unix Linux and Windows Infrastructures with Oracle having deep expertise in OS updates, patching & optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Scripting like Bash/Python, to create and manage Infrastructure and Script in Linux and Unix Env.
• Strong Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix shell commands, to manually create and manage Infrastructure resources in Linux and Unix Env through CLI.
• Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience in infrastructure-as-code and/or deployment system, e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible is a plus
• Strong knowledge of deploying and managing immutable infrastructure pipelines is a plus
• Good to have Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including serverless computing and managed database services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience in configuring and handling multiple persistence technologies a plus, i.e. MS SQL Server, Oracle, AWS DynamoDB
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in enterprise or high-scale environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Employees are required to complete a proper handover at the end of their shift to ensure smooth workflow continuity.
• Coordination with the next shift team member is essential for task updates and seamless transition.
• Flexibility to adjust shift timings when needed is expected.
