Youll be shaping the future of Bupa.Job DescriptionJob Title:Purchase ManagerReports to:Finance HeadDepartment:Finance / ProcurementLocation:GurugramJob Purpose:The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading, optimizing, and executing the end-to-end procurement function across the organization with primary focus on IT Sourcing. This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor relationship management, compliance with GCC regulatory requirements, and alignment with organizational goals. The position plays a critical role in strategic sourcing, spend management, and driving procurement excellence.Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in line with GCC regulations and company policies.
  • Manage supplier performance, SLAs, and compliance audits.
  • Build strong relationships with regional and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and re-tendering processes.
  • Draft and review commercial terms, ensuring legal and compliance standards.
  • Ensure effective risk mitigation and adherence to regulatory frameworks such as local content requirements.
  • Liaison with UK Team for Internal Compliances and checks
  • Oversee purchase requisitions, POs, and approval workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and internal control processes.
  • Drive automation, digital procurement tools.
  • Enforce procurement governance, documentation standards, and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, import/export rules, free-zone requirements, and GCC customs procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure alignment with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 20400 sustainable procurement).
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering initiatives.
  • Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 712 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in the GCC.
  • Strong experience in contract management, vendor negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Excellent knowledge of GCC procurement regulations, customs procedures, and GST frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of regional supply markets across GCC.
  • High integrity, ethical conduct, and stakeholder management capability.
