Mandatory experience in Tea, Food Ingredients, or FMCG Food Products.Job OverviewThe Area Sales Manager - B2B (HORECA) will be responsible for driving sales growth in the HORECA and institutional segment by acquiring new customers, strengthening existing accounts, expanding product penetration (Tea), and achieving volume and value targets across the assigned territory.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
  • Drive B2B sales across Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, and Institutional Kitchens.
  • Strong on-ground and leg-work experience in the HORECA segment, especially Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
  • Work independently to develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned territory.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage new institutional customers.
  • Support the appointment of new distributors wherever required.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales volume and value targets.
  • Drive bulk sales, contract pricing, and repeat orders.
Key Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, purchase managers, F&B managers, and business owners.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, sampling, and tastings to promote Tea powder.
  • Ensure regular follow-ups, order conversion, and long-term business contracts.
Channel & Distributor Management
  • Appoint and manage B2B distributors/stockists for HORECA supply.
  • Ensure product availability, pricing discipline, credit control, and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor distributor performance, secondary sales, and inventory levels.
Market Development & Promotion
  • Launch new products and drive trials in institutional kitchens.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Support promotional initiatives such as food expos, chef meets, and trade events.
Reporting
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Share forecasts, market intelligence, and customer feedback.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Any Graduate with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in FMCG industry is must.
  • The candidate should be a seasoned sales professional with excellent persuasion, convincing and negotiations capabilities.
  • Good communication Skills in English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
  • Should be enthusiastic & result-oriented.
