Job Requisition ID #24WD75901Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our team focused on shaping the future of Factory Design solutions in Autodesk Fusion. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about delivering innovative web applications targeted at Factory Design and Simulation. In this hybrid role, you will have experience in developing test strategies and quality validation paradigms for web applications.Autodesk Fusion is an ecosystem of client and server components, next generation web client, SDK and Cloud services with a variety of integrations with world leading products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit.ResponsibilitiesYou will define test strategy that is inclusive of test automations, integration tests and customer experience validationYou will work with the engineering team and software architect to define and ratify quality requirementsDevelop functional test cases that cover integration of components, APIs and end-to-end workflowsExecute test plans for Performance, Resiliency, Scalability and Security in collaboration with software developersCoordinate test events with other teams for a broad assessment of all dependenciesImplement and publish relevant test and release readiness analytics that provide quality insightsParticipate in conducting code coverage analysis and estimation of testing tasksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelinesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent2+ years of experience in software development or quality assurance with proficiency in web frameworksExperience in automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Cucumber, Lighthouse, JMeterExperience with test management and defect tracking systems such as JIRA, TestRailExcellent troubleshooting skills on complex software issuesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentFamiliarity with CAD concepts and Discrete Event SimulationFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum frameworkPreferred QualificationsExperience testing Progressive Web ApplicationsKnowledge of object-oriented programming principles and data structuresExperience with WebGL and 3D graphics testing#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout Autodesk
