- Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System
- Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
- To estimate set-up time/cycle time
- Product property set-up
- Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products
- Create BOMs and routings for newly released Part Numbers and revise BOMs and routings when processes are updated and/or Lean Manufacturing efforts create increased efficiency of the manufacturing steps
- ECN / PCN implementation and notification to related functions
- Design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems at the plant level to improve process capability, quality and manufacturing readiness
- Design, develop, test, source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for new or improved manufacturing methods
- Identify and develop collaborative solutions for issues within the production workflow such as level loading, production bottlenecks, machine reliability, general production related work flow waste
- Resolve issues and oversee identified projects to shape manufacturing success
- Prepare or direct the preparation of Model facility and/or equipment layout and detail drawings in CAD Engineering software
- Authorised to raise Zero Defect, RADAR, Stop Work Authority, Improvement Forms
- Authorised to use JDE, release drawing and MRP review
- Providing technical guidance for manufacturing activities
- Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls
- Layout management
- Support the Quoting process and Order Management process by supplying pertinent information as required
- Write procedures and reports
- Responsible to carry out any other task as advised by the supervisor or top management from time to time
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
- Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
- Collaborate with Engineering department in order to ensure all items (upper level and sub levels) of BOM is entered into Windchill.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Category Management and Manufacturing to simulate and assign the manufacturing COGS to parts/product, ensuring accuracy before finalizing.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop, innovate and implement manufacturing technology best practices.
- All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
- Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
- Prepare feasibility studies and thorough cost justification for projects
- Monitor production output and collaborate to implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

- Demonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with Manufacturing Engineering preferred from an Accredited University
- Ability to implement SPCPC skills including AutoCAD, CREO (Mechanical Desktop a plus) NC Programming Software
- Knowledge of machine design, welding processes and special processes (coating, grinding, elastomer mfg, painting, bonding, etc.).
- Strong team leadership skills, be a self-starter, innovative and able to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to implement SPC
- PC skills including AutoCAD, CREO (Mechanical Desktop a plus) NC Programming Software
- MS Office suite software.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lean Manufacturing experience, or Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certification
- Oil & Gas manufacturing experience
- Understanding of GD+T and dimensioning
