Responsibilities:
- Application Development:
- Design and Development: Create and modify SmartCOMM templates, layouts, and stylesheets to meet business requirements.
- Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to ensure accurate data representation in documents.
- Scripting: Write and maintain scripts for automation and customization within SmartCOMM.
- Customization:
- Business Requirements: Work with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Enhancements: Implement enhancements to improve application functionality and user experience.
- Integration:
- System Integration: Integrate SmartCOMM with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) to ensure seamless data flow.
- API Development: Develop and maintain APIs for integration with external systems.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Unit Testing: Conduct unit testing to ensure individual components function correctly.
- System Testing: Perform system testing to ensure the entire application works as expected.
- Debugging: Identify and fix bugs in the application code.
- Documentation:
- Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for developed solutions.
- User Guides: Develop user guides and training materials for end-users.
- Collaboration:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Support:
- Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SmartCOMM applications.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or bugs reported by users.
- Experience:
- Development Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SmartCOMM development or similar CCM solutions.
- Project Experience: Experience working on multiple SmartCOMM projects, from inception to deployment.
- Technical Skills:
- SmartCOMM Modules: Proficiency in Advanced Template Designer, Data Modeler, and Web Editor.
- Programming Languages: Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, XML, and other relevant programming languages.
- Database Management: Experience with database management systems and SQL.
- Problem-Solving:
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve development issues.
- Creative Solutions: Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- Communication:
- Technical Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- Education:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- API Integration:
- API Development: Experience developing and maintaining APIs for SmartCOMM integration.
- Third-Party Integration: Familiarity with integrating SmartCOMM with third-party systems.
- Cloud Experience:
- Cloud Deployment: Experience with deploying SmartCOMM applications in cloud environments.
- Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Insurance Domain: Understanding of the insurance domain, particularly in document generation and management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to document management in the insurance industry.
