- Client specification review related to compressor, resolve the queries if any and ensure compliance.
- Define product design requirements in accordance with contractual and industry guidelines.
- Lead medium to large engineering projects and design reviews for complex
- mechanical systems to ensure equipment reliability while handling cost and operational effectiveness
- Develop and / or check engineering prints and bills of material for project manufacturing readiness
- Creates confirmed model assemblies using NX for conceptual review and ANSI analysis in support of new product development cycles
- Able to serve as a technical guide when meeting with clients and vendors and is responsible for mentoring and developing other employees by establishing best
- practices which incorporate equipment reliability, design efficiencies, and product cost-out improvements
- Provides engineering support to bid management, Manufacturing, Supply chain management and services
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Technical proficiency in 3D modeling design software
- Required Experience and Skills 0-10 years related experience in Reciprocating Compressor design and manufacturing
- Excellent communication and social skills to collaborate with cross disciplinary teams
- Insight, interest and proven understanding of the oil and gas industry, and
- familiarity of reciprocating compressors within this industry
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
