The responsibilities includes, but not limited to:1. Principal Responsibilitiesa. Build and execute a sales strategy in conjunction with relationship teams in the area.b. Relevant experience in cross-border transactions, correspondent clearing, Nostro, Vostro regulations, compliance policies, FEMA and other regulations.c. Relevant experience in managing correspondent banking relationships, global fintech’s across geographies.d. Relevant experience in managing NBFI’s, asset managers, broker-dealers, insurance, sovereign wealth funds, private equities, hedge funds, etce. Understanding of recent trends in cross-border trade, Fintech business models and technologies.f. Develop and own sales plan for NTB and GNTB clients in the region as per the given targets.g. Develop and own client plans for retention and cross-sell opportunities in the regionh. Proven track record of executing business plans and achieving targetsi. Accountable for Financial performance for the regionj. Account planning for all key accounts in the area with deliverables agreed with coverage team; periodic review of progress against account plansk. Assume practice leadership as assigned (e.g. Sales process, Solutioning, marketing etc.). Design and develop product solutions in collaboration with product and regionalsales teamsl. Execute governance process with the leadership of the Bankm. Ensure compliance with sales procedures and practicesn. On site thought leadership role to coordinate on behalf of India sales leadership and the regional leadership team
  • Shareholder & Financial:
a. Play a major role in the implementation of the strategies and plan to achieve all set volume, revenue, cost and profit targets for the GBFI function within the assigned portfolioand in accordance with the Bank’s overall corporate budget and strategy.b. Come up consistently with business ideas to help boost revenues from existing and new to bank clientsc. Adhere and work in accordance to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of performance, risk, conduct, policy and processes.3. Customer (Internal & External):d. Develop and manage on a day-to-day basis potential clients and assigned portfolio of existing customers to meet assigned financial and non-financial targets in compliancewith established the Bank’s credit policies, procedures and standards.e. Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all related functions / units to achieve assigned goals / objectives.f. Responsible for business development and origination of new to bank clients and cross-sell within existing portfoliosg. Work together with stakeholders in country and regionally to build client pipeline and opportunities.4. Collaboration:a. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions and business groups to achieve key objectivesb. Develop and execute strategies towards fulfilment of training and career developmentc. Manage risks, conduct and compliance policies as per the banks policies and procedures from time to time5. Learning & Knowledge:a. Possess sound knowledge of the Bank’s products, policies, procedures and standards.b. Undergo and successfully complete all assigned trainings within the allotted timeframes.c. Be abreast with the latest in the Correspondent Banking regulations, rules and technologiesd. Other: Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive informationRequirements
  • MBA, MSc,CA, Post-graduation preferred.
  • Ideal candidate should possess relevant experience built on sound credit background, typically with 15+ years of relevant banking sales, customer management experience.
