Reporting To Management🗣️ Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end purchase activities including indent processing, quotation comparison, purchase order issuance, and follow-ups.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, components, and services based on production and business needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate terms to secure the best possible pricing and delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews.
- Optimize purchase costs through effective negotiation strategies and cost analysis.
- Assist in developing cost-saving initiatives and contribute to the overall cost-reduction goals of the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including POs, contracts, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable statutory norms.
- Coordinate with stores and inventory departments to manage stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Liaise with production and planning departments for material requirement forecasts.
- Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and new suppliers to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Science / Engineering (preferred)
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Tally ERP, Zoho Inventory)
- Understanding of sourcing, vendor development, and supply chain management
- Familiarity with ISO, quality systems, and procurement best practices
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical thinking, strong problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
