Job Description:Kotak Mahindra BankBusiness Banking Assets:BBA is a part of consumer assets department of the bank under which Working Capital (secured lending), Unsecured Business loans, Health care Finance & Supply chain Finance operate. All these departments focus on lending to the SME/MSME & Self-employed Professionals space. The incumbent will be a part of this department.We specialize in structuring deals for SME clients by offering Fund based products like Cash Credit & OD, Term Loans (Secured and Unsecured), Equipment Finance as well as Non Fund products like Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee's, Foreign Exchange and Trade Products.Job Description:Candidate should have an understanding of sales management and at the same time be at ease with balance sheets and numbers. A good understanding/interest in the macro economic situation of the country (and world) is helpful as we deal with businesses/industries whose businesses are affected by changes in the economic scenario as well as policy changes.Candidate should be abreast on the latest technology that is being used in the consumer finance space, we are trying to digitalize ourselves and adoption is critical.Skills Required:
  • Specialization in Marketing or Dual Specialization in Marketing & Finance is preferred. Commerce Background for graduation is preferred
  • Academics - Target Segment is Self Employed Professionals (Business Persons) - Good understanding of Balance Sheet / P&L assessment is required to be able to structure deals and arrive at loan eligibility
  • Team Management - This a Sales Role & an Independent role. However candidate may manage a team of Off Role employee(s)/ Tele callers or work with Branch (Retail Liability network), Direct Marketing Channels (DMA's) to onboard Clients
  • Communication Skills - The candidate would need to interact with multiple departments of the bank such as Retail Liabilities (Branch), Credit/Risk, Trade/Treasury, Operations on an ongoing basis and hence should possess good communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Multitask - The candidate would need to handle Sales for a gamut of products like CC, TL, OD, BG/LC, Loan against Credit Card Receivables (POS Machines). He/she may also needs to cross sell various products like Current Account/Insurance
  • Relationships -Building relationships with key persons (CFOs/ promoters) in the target segments & building client trust & confidence is a required skill set
  • Portfolio Management - Employees have portfolios assigned to them which they need to grow, nurture and manage
  • Macro -One must be alert on competitive elements in the target segments (viz. other banks etc.) & have a good awareness on macroeconomic data
