Overview:This role is responsible for supervising intercompany accounting activities within the Finance Shared Services CenterHow the Candidate Will Make an Impact:
Manage and guide 4 intercompany accountants.
Allocate work, monitor daily output, and ensure deadlines are met.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany statements prepared by the team.
Provide coaching, feedback, and on‑the‑job support
Support new joiner training and process knowledge transfer
Oversee maintenance of intercompany accounts for assigned entities.
Ensure timely month‑end close, including
Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
Intercompany balance confirmations
Journal entries and accruals
Review and approve :
Intercompany sales and balance statements
Advices of Entry (AOEs) and cross‑charges
Ensure all transactions are booked in the correct accounting period
Identify, analyze, and resolve intercompany differences and out‑of‑balance issues
Act as the main contact for:
Corporate finance
Global intercompany partners
Internal stakeholders
Escalate unresolved or high‑risk issues to the Manager in a timely manner
Ensure team compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
Review documentation to support audits.
Coordinate responses for internal and external audit queries.
Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
Support standardization and documentation of intercompany processes.
5–8 years of relevant RTR / Intercompany / GL experience.
Minimum 1–2 years of team handling or review experience preferred.
Experience in a large multinational or shared services environment
Hands‑on experience with SAP and reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline).
Strong knowledge of intercompany and general ledger accounting.
Prior experience with US GAAP.
Good people management and review skills.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
Ability to handle deadlines in a high‑volume environment
