The ideal candidate should reside in close proximity to Andheri and have prior experience in warehouse management, especially in handling blue-collar workers. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a good grasp of Excel to efficiently manage orders and inventory. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth functioning of inbound and outbound activities. Efficiently manage and coordinate the dispatch process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Supervise and lead a team of blue-collar workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain optimal inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits and reconciliations. Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Monitor and maintain the safety and cleanliness standards of the warehouse facility. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of stock. Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze and track order status, inventory levels, and performance metrics. Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner. Liaise with transporters and logistics providers to optimize transportation costs and schedules. Prepare and submit accurate reports on warehouse and dispatch activities to management. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse and dispatch management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of blue-collar workers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create reports. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and order management. Familiarity with safety protocols and warehouse equipment. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends, as per business requirements.
