Key Responsibilities:- Provide immediate medical care to admitted patients (IPD).- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in emergency situations.- Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor patient progress.- Implement treatment plans as advised by consultants.- Prescribe medications and order necessary investigations.- Assist in medical procedures and surgeries when required.- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.- Respond promptly to code blue and other emergency calls.- Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for patient management.- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards.- Counsel patients and relatives regarding treatment plans and progress.
