Senior Sourcing Engineer

• Manage sourcing activities for castings, gears, machined parts, C parts, and indirect materials.
• Support global and regional category managers in achieving procurement and category objectives.
• Conduct local and global supply market research to optimize the supply chain.
• Develop and implement effective category strategies aligned with business goals.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and supplier performance improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships, including risk management and long-term partnership development.
• Engage with suppliers on technical issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance (price, quality, service, capacity).
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by collaborating with R&D and suppliers to optimize design and cost.

• Understand the Casting/machining process, knowledge of Zero-base costing is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical engineering with minimum 5-6 years' experience in strategic sourcing/purchasing, engineering or other related functions.
• Strong sourcing experience in Casting /C parts/IDM parts etc.
• Good understanding of components specification and manufacturing process.
• Self-driven, result, process and teamwork oriented.
• Strong English communication ability in speaking, writing and reading.
• Experience working in a global environment is preferred
• Strong analytical ability. Strong professional negotiating skills. Good business judgment and risk management skills High personal integrity and ethical standards
• Solid computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Frequently travel is needed
