JOB DESCRIPTIONwe provide precision-driven engineering and geospatial solutions that support safe,efficient, and reliable industrial and infrastructure projects.We emphasize innovation, quality, andmentoring to deliver client-focused outcomes.Job OverviewLead the development of piping layouts and deliverables for brownfield and greenfield projects,ensuring compliance with international standards and seamless interdisciplinary coordination.Own 3D model quality, clash-free design, and constructible solutions from concept to as-built,while mentoring junior designers and supporting site execution.Position Title: Senior Piping DesignerJob Location : HyderabadReporting to : General ManagerEmployment Type : Full TimeMinimum QualificationsDiploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Strong technical expertise in piping layout and design, equipment layout, pipe routing,and support detailing.Mandatory: Proficiency in MicroStation for 2D/3D design and drafting; ability to prepareand update GAs, isometrics, and plot plans.Working knowledge of international codes/standards: ASME B31.3/B31.1, API, ASTM,ISO, OSHA best practices.Hands-on experience with clash detection and model coordination (e.g., Navisworks orequivalent).Ability to interpret and incorporate red-mark/mark-up drawings and produce as-builtdeliverables.Advantageous (preferred): AutoPLANT/PDMS/E3D, AutoCAD, Caesar II interfaceawareness, SPI/S3D review tools.Experience8–12 years of relevant piping design experience in EPC/EPCM or owner-operatorprojects (oil & gas, chemicals, power, or related process industries), including minimum3 years in a senior/lead designer capacity.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and maintain piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and plant 3D modelzones.Prepare and review plot plans, piping GAs, isometrics, tie-in details, support drawings,and BOM/MTO.Perform clash detection and coordinate resolutions with process, mechanical,civil/structural, and E&I teams.Interpret P&IDs, line lists, vendor drawings, and client specs; update models/drawingsper revisions.Incorporate red marks and site inputs; produce as-built documentation and closeoutpackages.Lead model reviews, track action items, and maintain QA/QC standards.Support construction and commissioning with field sketches, RFIs/TQs, andconstructability guidance.Mentor junior designers, enforce drafting standards, and improve CAD/3D workflows.Strong 3D spatial awareness, attention to detail, and zero-defect mindset.Proactive communicator with excellent interdisciplinary coordination skills.Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet tight schedules while guiding team members.Problem-solving focus with constructability and safety awareness.Professionalism, integrity, and commitment to documentation discipline and changecontrol.
