- Develop and execute the global export strategy for company's spices, condiments, and allied products.
- Identify and evaluate new export markets, channels, and distribution opportunities.
- Create and implement annual export sales budgets, targets, and growth plans.
- Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Build, manage, and expand distributor/partner networks across multiple countries.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trading terms with international partners.
- Ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales and profitability targets.
- Optimize supply chain coordination with production, logistics, and warehousing teams.
- Ensure compliance with international food safety and export regulations (e.g., FDA, FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, Halal, Kosher).
- Manage export documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory filings.
- Stay updated on changes in import/export laws, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to adapt brand communication for different cultural markets.
- Oversee participation in global food exhibitions, trade fairs, and B2B meetings.
- Drive initiatives for digital marketing and e-commerce in international markets.
- Build and lead a high-performing export sales team.
- Conduct regular training for international business and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
- Coordinate with R&D for product adaptation as per country-specific taste profiles.
- Strong understanding of FMCG export markets, preferably in spices/condiments/food products.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Deep knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.
- Proven leadership in achieving aggressive sales targets in global markets.
- Ability to adapt marketing strategies for different cultures and consumer behaviours.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and cultural sensitivity.
- MBA in International Business / Marketing or equivalent.
- 18-20 years of experience in FMCG export sales, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of launching and growing products in multiple countries.
- Experience in handling large distributor networks and modern trade.
- Willingness to travel extensively internationally.
