Get to know us at genpact.com and on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Facebook.We are inviting applications for the role of AM, Record to ReportIn this role, you will be working for the Australian Client (with their core business of Insurance & Banking) and meeting the statutory and regulatory requirements as per the Australian Geography requirementsYou will work with customers/client in day to day operations and work on the preparation of financials statements and notes to accounts as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Your role will function as an overlay of existing domain experts and bring value through new thoughts/ways of doing work which can lead to operational efficiencyResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to month end closing activities.Lead and manage the delivery of R2R processes including- Journal entries, Reconciliations, Month-end activities, Fixed assets, Intercompany and ReportingEnsure adherence and meeting the KPIs / SLA and review the timely execution of controlsReview and approve work prepared by team members ensuring accuracy and timelinessAct as a point of contact for client finance teams and internal stakeholders.Manage escalations, provide timely resolutions, and ensure high client satisfactionProvide objective feedback related to team development and training needsDrive process improvements, standardization, policy and internal controls compliancePerforming deliverables aligned on forecast reporting.Explaining the causes of different cost heads of the various functions and assisting in communicating these to the Onshore partners.Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com/MBA). CA/Inter would be an added advantageR2R experience in shared services/BPO, supervisory role preferredHands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar).Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and reconciliation platforms.Exposure to automation tools (BlackLine, RPA) is an added advantagePreferred qualificationsExcellent Communication- Written & VerbalProficient in Accounting & Analytical SkillsProficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and hands on experience on application- TM1, Oracle discoverer, CognosAbility to prioritize efficient & be flexiblePositive demeanor with a focus on continuous process improvement and an open mind to changeHigh standard of integrity, self-confidence to state and support opinionsSkills & AttributesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage stakeholders across geographies.Team leadership, people development, and conflict resolution skillsProcess improvement initiatives deliveredWhy join Genpact?
